Just your swimming kit – we will supply all aids needed for the swimming lesson.
Its a good idea to bring a changing mat for your little one.
As per Swim Englands recommendation, we award badges 3 times a year.
Stages 1-7
Spring Term – Water Skills Badges
Summer Term – Water Safety Badges in line with Drowning Prevention Week
Autumn Term – Distance Badges
Beginners – Discovery Duckling Badges (Each Term)
Parent and Child – Discovery Ducklings (Each Term)
When your swimmer is ready to move up to the next stage of swimming, this is actioned as soon as they complete the criteria. We will advise you of this and offer you the opportunity to buy the relevant stage badge.
Badges are £5. This will be added to the invoice. Please let us know by emailing us.
Goggles are optional and your choice – though please ensure they fit correctly as we don’t want them being messed about with during the lesson. If needed, practice in the bath.
Please ensure a double layer is worn i.e. a swimming nappy and a swimsuit.
As soon as both mum and baby are feeling well and had clearance from a medical trained practitioner.
Yes anyone can bring baby swimming, however please let the teacher know if the adult has any health conditions.
No. Please do not bring baby/child if they have a temperature, cold, conjunctivitis, ear infection or anything that could be infectious.

A child needs to be at least 3 years old to go in a class on their own. We recommend they have some experience in a swimming pool / parent + child class before this.
